Why did the layout change?
A PDF places text at positions on a page; it doesn’t know about paragraphs the way Word does. This tool extracts the text only, so columns, tables and images are not carried over.
Can I convert a scanned PDF?
No. A scanned PDF has no text, only pictures of pages.
Why is the Amharic scrambled?
Some Amharic PDFs were made with older font programs that don’t store letters as proper Unicode. That text can’t be extracted correctly.
Will the formatting stay exactly the same?
Simple documents convert closely. Complex layouts may shift slightly, so review the Word file before sending it.
Can I convert a scanned PDF?
Not directly. Extract the text with OCR first, then paste it into Word.
