Each tool shows the file types it accepts on its page. The PDF tools accept PDF files.

Are my files stored anywhere?

No. Your files are processed only inside your browser and are never uploaded.

How long are my files kept?

Only while the page is open, in your browser’s memory. They are gone when you close or reload the page. Files you download stay on your device.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. It works in Android and iPhone browsers. Very large files may be slow on older phones.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. Up to 50 MB per file and up to 20 files at a time.

Can I extract Amharic text from a scanned document?

Yes, with our OCR tools (beta). Best results come from clear printed documents; always check the result. OCR runs in your browser and your images are not uploaded.

Can I use a password-protected PDF?

No. These tools do not open password-protected PDFs.

What happens if processing fails?

You see a message explaining the problem, and your original file is unchanged. You can try again or choose another file.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool works without signing up.

Which browsers are supported?

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Very old browsers may not run some tools.

How accurate is the Amharic OCR?

It works well on clear printed documents. Handwriting and faded or very small text produce more errors. Always check the result.

Can I use the results for an official application?

Yes, but check the required size, format and other rules with the office. This site is not an official service of any institution.
