Extract text from an image (Amharic or English)
Image to Text reads the words in a photo, screenshot or scanned page and gives you text you can copy or download as a TXT file. Choose Amharic, English or both, then select Read text.
For the best result use a straight, well-lit picture with printed text and no heavy shadows. Always proofread names, dates and numbers, because OCR can confuse similar characters. For a whole scanned PDF, use Amharic PDF OCR instead.
